Camille DeMario Scholarship
Rising Grosse Pointe Academy First Grader
25% of Tuition
The Camille DeMario Scholarship was established in honor of longtime Early School Principal Camille DeMario. Her commitment to the school continues in this annual recognition of a rising first grader who demonstrates academic promise and a desire to excel. All students enrolled in our five-year-old program have the opportunity to test on verbal reasoning, relational and quantitative concepts during a school day in February; students who complete testing will be considered during the selection process. The recipient will be awarded a 25% tuition merit scholarship, renewable annually through fourth grade.
Eleanor Wagner Brock Scholarship

This financial assistance scholarship that covers 25% of first grade tuition, is awarded to a current female Academy kindergarten student. The award is based on academic promise and the personal characteristics of being vibrant and positive. Student nominations are given by the Early School faculty, approved by the Early School Division Director and confirmed by the Head of School.
Brett Bentley Crawford Creative Writing Scholarship
Rising Grosse Pointe Academy Eighth Grade Female

This scholarship was established to honor the memory of 1997 Academy graduate Brett Crawford. It recognizes a current Academy eighth grade female who possesses the skill and passion for creative writing and has exhibited the spirited personality necessary to qualify for this award. Nominations are submitted by Middle School faculty, approved by the Middle School Division Director and confirmed by the Head of School.
Thelma Fox Murray Scholarship

This award honors a rising Academy eighth grade female who exhibits integrity, humility, a sense of humor, athletic achievement and academic excellence. Nominations are submitted by Middle School faculty, approved by the Middle School Division Director and confirmed by the Head of School.
