Tuition Assistance
The Academy’s tuition assistance program exists so that qualified applicants demonstrating need as computed by nationally accepted formulas may be able to attend the Academy. It is available annually to students in grades 1-8 based on the presentation, analysis and review of confidential financial statements submitted to the Facts Grant and Aid Service for Financial Aid.  In addition, finance plans are available to meet budgeting needs.

Merit Scholarships
The Academy is pleased to offer the following merit based scholarships. Please call Katherine Thompson, Assistant Head of School for Admissions and Marketing, at 313-886-1221 for an application and testing information.

Camille DeMario Scholarships
Two half-tuition non-renewable scholarships will be awarded annually to students entering Grade 1.

Academy Scholars Challenge
As many as three $15,000 ($5,000 per year, renewable) scholarships will be awarded annually to students entering Grade 6.

The Academy also offers a number of named merit-based scholarship awards for current Academy students.

Finance Plans
Full tuition may be paid directly to The Grosse Pointe Academy by August 1.

The Academy has contracted with FACTS, a tuition and financial aid management service, to provide our families a choice in meeting their financial obligations with payment plan options made payable directly to FACTS. Parents using FACTS may pay their tuition by check, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. Direct debit to your bank account is also an option.

FACTS enrollment information is sent once a student application has been received.

Please call Bob Wanicke, Director of Finance, at 313-886-1221, with questions about tuition assistance and payment plan options.
