On March 6, students in grades 4-7 treated their families and guests to a celebration of Gilbert and Sullivan and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Swashbuckling pirates and a bevy of beautiful maidens made their appearance in the sixth grade performance of “Pirates of Penzance," seventh graders vamped to the humor of Gilbert and Sullivan in "The Mikado," and fourth and fifth graders recreated the story of Joseph and his jealous brothers in "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat." All three performances were under the musical and dramatical direction of Marion Chrisner. The night also featured a special performance by the eighth grade honors bell choir.
