Fourth and fifth grade students in Denise Szykula’s Creative ARTS Movement class shared the art of Henri Mattise with parents on November 13. Their choreographic studies were based on Matisse’s work, and their dances reflected this semester’s endeavors. The 4/5 performance was the first Creative ARTS Movement performance, to be followed by grades 2/3 and grade 1 later in the year.
