"Each one of us has a journey to take and the possibilities are endless."
Academy first, second and third graders explored many musical possibilities during the Lower School music program on Wednesday, April 25. Under the direction of Roshell Chuhran, the children demonstrated their prowess on a variety of instruments, including the chimes and recorders, performing such favorites as "Amazing Grace" and "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands."
They also gave a vocal performance of a lifetime for a packed audience in the Tracy Fieldhouse. Ms. Williams' second grade class sang the title song "Possibilities," while the first grade sang about "Big Dreams." Mrs. Martin's second grade class sang about the possibilities of what they were "gonna be", Mrs. Stepanek's third grade class sang about never giving up, and Mrs. Wolney's third grade class sang "It's My Journey."
Prior to the show, the strings ensemble performed under the direction of Lynne Bacon.
