Art Matters

Congratulations to the following GPA students whose work will be on display as part of "Art Matters," an elementary and middle school student art exhibit sponsored by the Association of Independent Schools of Michigan (AIMS):

David Britt (Kindergarten) - Repeated pattern on a vegetable tray
Kate Zinn (Grade 1) - Watercolor painting of a GPA tree in winter
Chris Elliott (Grade 2) - Repeated pattern design
Brynne Reilly (Grade 3) - Yarn weaving
Jack Weaver (Grade 4) - Shoe drawing
Kate Krueger (Grade 5) - Tesselation
Morgan Westwood (Grade 6) - Painting
Robert Stanley (Grade 7) - Relief print self-portrait
Maddie Miriani (Grade 8) - Relief print self-portrait

Everyone is welcome to attend a public open house and reception at the exhibition venues at the following dates and times:

Southfield Public Library - Monday, April 23, 7-9 p.m.
Cranbrook Institute of Science - Friday, April 27, 7-9 p.m.
