Eighth graders Walter Bridgforth, Taylor Bell and Adam Smith were named Athletes of the Season for the fall of 2006 based on their athletic achievements, leadership abilities, academic performance and citizenship.

Walter was voted MVP of the varsity soccer team by his teammates and is a scholar athlete and honors student.

Taylor was co-captain of the cross country team and received recognition as one of the team’s most improved runners. She was also voted most valuable player for the girls’ varsity basketball team. She is a scholar athlete, received high honors, and is a member of the National Junior Honor Society.

Adam Smith is also a co-captain of the cross country team and was named Team Bulldog. In addition to being a scholar athlete, Adam is a member of the National Junior Honor Society and is on the school’s high honors roll.
