The 2006/07 Grosse Pointe Academy forensics team competed in the 7th/8th grade Eastside Catholic Forensics League meet held at St. Thecla on Saturday, December 9 with outstanding results. The team earned six first places. Second places were earned by Taylor Bell in poetry, Samantha Fitzpatrick and Rich Cieszkowski in multiple interpretation, Alex Parker in storytelling, Rebecca Broderick, Lexie Fisher, Michael McCuish and Elizabeth DiMauro in multiple interpretation, Chandler Warren in declamation, and Grace Rentschler and Somers Brush in duo interpretation.

Third place honors were awarded as follows: Samantha Sternad and Katarina Goitz in prose, Emily Skau and Taylor Bell in poetry, Chandler Warren and Liam McIlroy in declamation, Adam Smith and Michael Leahy in impromptu, and Grace Rentschler and Somers Brush in duo interpretation.
