We are pleased to announce that nine GPA students ranging in kindergarten through grade 8 have artwork that appears in the "Art Matters" exhibit at the Cranbrook Institute of Science. Those students are Emma Smith (kindergarten), James Hamer (grade 1), Maddie Fozo (grade 2), Carly Demkowicz (grade 3), Leonie Leslie (grade 4), Libby Elliott (grade 5), Kate Van Pelt (grade 6), Alexa Yates (grade 7), and Lexie Fisher (grade 8).
The exhibit will run through May 15. There will be an open house and reception emceed by metro Detroit radio and voice-over talent Ann Delisi. This will be held at the Cranbrook Institute of Science on Friday, April 25 from 7 to 9 p.m.
"Art Matters" is an elementary and middle school student art exhibit sponsored by AIMS as part of an effort to build awareness of independent schools in Michigan.
