Eighth graders (from left) Robert Stanley, Eddie Bridgforth, Emmy Boccaccio and Grace Rentschler were named Athletes of the Season for the fall of 2007 based on their athletic achievements, leadership abilities, academic performance and citizenship.

Robert was undefeated as the #3 singles player on the Academy tennis team. Eddie was co-captain of the boys’ varsity soccer team and was voted most valuable player by his teammates. Emmy, a two-year varsity player, was captain of the girls’ volleyball team and was named best setter and co-best spiker. Grace, also a two-year varsity volleyball player, received awards as co-best server, co-best passer and co-best spiker.

All four are on the high honor roll, citizenship list and head of school list and are members of the National Junior Honor Society.
