The rain held off long enough (with just a few sprinkles) for students to enjoy the ever-popular Academy tradition: Field Day. This year's event, organized by physical education teacher Cheryl Carroll, offered new twists, such as a Texas snowshoe relay, in which students had to coordinate walking together on snowshoes, and a muscleman contest, frisbee shootout, and back-to-back balloon carry, along with the old favorite, tug-o-war.
