Middle school students fought off the February blahs with an annual GPA tradition: Middle School Spirit Week. The sixth, seventh and eighth graders waged a friendly competition during the course of three days. For example, on Tuesday, otherwise known as Clash Day, the eighth graders won the trivia quiz. Wednesday's obstacle course was postponed to Thursday due to the school cancellation, and once again the eighth graders were the victors. The final tally will not be in until next Tuesday, when the wall competition will take place. Each grade will decorate a wall according to a chosen theme. For the sixth grade, the theme was the Wizard of Oz. Seventh graders chose music, and the eighth grade demonstrated opposites. The week concluded with a faculty/student dodgeball challenge.
