The Grosse Pointe Academy hosted its 17th annual cross country invitational on Thursday, October 2. Five schools competed: GPA, Academy of the Sacred Heart, Hillel, Roeper and University Liggett School.

The Academy 7/8 boys tied for second with Roeper in their event, and the 5/6 boys placed third. The following runners also received ribbons (i.e., they placed in the top ten): Michael French (6th place - 5/6 boys), Sophie Engstrom (7th place - 5/6 girls), Robbie Triano (7th place - 7/8 boys), Sam Williams (7th place - 5/6 boys), Samantha Perry (8th place - 7/8 girls), and Zachary Wood (8th place - 7/8 boys).
