Mark your calendars! Action Auction is turning 40 this year and we are going to celebrate in style and with song. Join our 2007 Action Auction Chairs Mollie and Geoffrey Donaldson and Beth and Peter Rentschler for this wonderful event.

The Preview Auction, held on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, will be the same great event that it has been in the past. Join us for a large silent auction, strolling hors d'oeuvres, and cocktails in the Tracy Fieldhouse. Mollie and Geoffrey Donaldson will chair this event.

Reserve Friday night, May 11, 2007, for the 40th annual Action Auction at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. Note the new date and location! This wonderful evening will feature a small live auction, strolling dinner and cocktails. To cap off the night, you will be treated to a special performance by Anita Baker (Bridgforth), fellow GPA parent and Grammy Award winning artist. Beth and Peter Rentschler and Tina and Dan Griffin will chair this event.

Auction Volunteer Kick-off Breakfast
We depend on volunteers to make the Action Auction a success. We are seeking volunteers to help us solicit donations and to assist in planning and setting up the event. Watch for your invitation to the Action Auction Volunteer Kickoff Breakfast on Friday, October 6. Committees are forming now and everyone is encouraged to lend a hand.
