Academy Opens New Arts Wing
Posted: February 25, 2006Parents, past parents, faculty, staff, trustees and alumni attended the grand opening of the new performing arts wing on Wednesday evening. Live entertainment was provided by Spanish teacher Brian DeMaggio, a classical guitarist, and a brief video was shown that showcased the performing arts at GPA since 1993. Following remarks by Head of School Phil Demartini, Board treasurer Joe DiMauro, and Capital Campaign co-chair Cathy Broderick, a ribbon was cut and guests toured the new music classrooms.
