End of Year Celebrations
Posted: June 14, 2010The last full week of the 2009-10 school year was filled with end-of-year celebrations, from final chapel assemblies to class picnics to the Kindergarten Celebration. Each event marked a special milestone or rite of passage, whether it was the seventh graders taking the pews along the sides of the Chapel traditionally reserved for the eighth graders during Monday morning Chapel assemblies, or the third grade teachers bidding farewell to the leaders of the lower school who will be entering the 4/5 program next year. Kindergarten parents celebrated another milestone for their children who will be leaving the Early School and beginning a new journey next year as first graders.
