Volunteer Opportunities

Below are some areas where we valuably need your help. Thank you in advance for all of your commitment and support.

Ambassador Program *
Provide support and friendship to a new family and help them become a part of The Grosse Pointe Academy community. Summer and school year.

Back-To-School Picnic *
Help with the set-up and take down of tables, etc. for the annual Back-to-School Picnic.

Grandparents'/Special Friends' Day
Be a part of this special event by serving refreshments, and providing assistance to our visitors.

Book Fair
Assist in the preparations for the annual Book Fair. Opportunities include set-up, display, book sales, clean up and take down.

Annual Fund *
Join the Annual Fund Team to assist in efforts to raise funds necessary to support the Academy Advantage.

Action Auction *
Held at the beginning of May, many opportunities are available from acquisitions to event planning. The chairs will contact you to match your interests to needs.

Open House *
Offer a parent's perspective of the Academy by talking with families who attend the Open House.

Hospitality
Help plan and host on-campus events including Faculty/Staff Appreciation functions, the Tree Lighting ceremony, and receptions following school performances. School Year.

Spirit Nights *
We host two spirit nights to celebrate athletics at the Academy. Volunteer to help with this fun community event. A great way to get dads involved! Fall and Spring.
