Many have seen and experienced first hand the amazing transformation of our historic school building made possible by the Tradition and Tomorrow Capital Campaign. We invite those who have not yet had a chance to drop by for a tour. The renovations have honored the past and protected the future of the Academy by preserving the mission of the school.
The Tradition and Tomorrow Capital Campaign is a one time special effort. The main school building and campus have been the focal points of the Campaign. In addition to the renovations, continuing to grow the Academy's endowment is a priority of the campaign. Through the generosity of the Academy community, to date we have raised $7.4 million dollars towards building renovations of $10 million.
We ask that each member of the Academy community thoughtfully consider how they can take a meaningful role in this campaign to honor the past and define the future of The Grosse Pointe Academy. Your participation is an expression of your commitment to continued excellence at the Academy. Each personal contribution will vary, and all are significant. Many families are choosing to take advantage of the option to pay their pledge commitment over 5 years. You can choose the amount of payment and timing over the 5 years to make it most convenient to you.
Each pledge or gift will be recognized in a variety of ways. All gifts will be listed in upcoming Capital Campaign reports, annual reports and special mailings. Gifts of $25,000 or more will also be recognized on a donor wall in the front quad entrance of the main school building. In addition to the donor wall, donations of $50,000 or more have naming opportunities for classrooms and other areas. Please contact the Advancement Department for a complete listing.
We are close to reaching our Capital Campaign goal of $10 million. We need your help now more than ever to close out the Campaign. Please consider a gift to honor the past and define the future of The Grosse Pointe Academy. Contact Jenny Parke in the Advancement Department, 313-886-1221, x181 for additional information.
