The Grosse Pointe Academy has a vital interest in keeping close contact with the broad field of education by maintaining membership in professional associations, both national and regional.

The school is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, the Independent Schools Association of the Central States, the Association of Independent Michigan Schools and the Educational Records Bureau.

The Early School is a member of the American Montessori Society and is licensed by the Michigan Department of Social Services.

The Grosse Pointe Academy admits students of any race, sex, religion or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to Academy students.
