Academy Chapel Weddings

The Grosse Pointe Academy Chapel is a charming, historic venue for a wedding ceremony. Dating back to 1889, the detail in the Chapel is exquisite with dark paneling, wood carvings and beautiful stained glass windows. The Chapel accommodates approximately 190 guests and is available for a Catholic ceremony.

In addition to our Chapel, our picturesque grounds make a lovely backdrop for an outdoor religious or civil ceremony, as well as your wedding reception. A variety of locations for your special day are possible, from a lakeside view to a historic terrace setting, on the Academy’s 20-acre campus located on the shores of Lake St. Clair.
